It’s 10:30 AM and so far I have…weighed in and completed a 14 minute mile on the gazelle. My weight stayed the same, which I am alright with I guess. At least I didn’t gain!
I am now going to have breakfast, paint my nails and read/get back on the gazelle and anxiously wait for Tool Academy to come on tonight. Sunday=Trash TV! Off to make my calves hurt some more!
Also, I didn’t eat all of my points last week. I still had 16 of my 35 weekly points left over. I was told it would be best to eat all of them, but I had already felt like I had over eaten (which I really hadn’t), so I didn’t finish the points off and I believe my stomach is thanking me now. Here’s to hoping this week is the same, PLUS weight LOSS!
2PM and I just completed my second mile. 13 minutes this time. I guess if I just get on the gazelle and watch tv instead of read, I tend to walk faster. Who knew!
10PM-finished my 3rd mile of the day. 13 minutes. I’m glad to see some progress. I will NOT say anything about it being slower than a lot of people, it doesn’t matter. I am improving!

Enjoyed a nice lunch at Mellow Mushroom with friends. Had a mushroom club on wheat bread with all kinds of veggies! Yum!
Prior to going to lunch I did a mile on the gazelle, which took about 13:15 minutes, which means I am getting faster!
Spent the rest of the day with friends, had italian ice and then went back to their house for dinner. They made individual flatbread/wrap pizzas with lots of veggies. It makes me happy that I can eat veggies and not have Jeff complain because he can have what EVER he wants on his pizza (aka meat).
When we got home at 10:30, I did another mile on the gazelle in 13:45. And now it’s time to watch some tv and then get some sleep.
Dead Until Dark/Living Dead In Dallas
If you’re at all into True Blood, I would recommend reading the books. I am only two books in, but they are great. I would go as far to say that they are even better than the show!
There is currently nine books in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
Dead Until Dark is the first of the series. It’s an amazing story about Sookie, a girl who works in a bar and a vampire that she meets, Bill. It’s a love story with blood, blood and more blood. I think one of my favorite parts of the book is the fact that Tara isn’t really in it. I can’t say I’m that thrilled about her character in the show, so that makes me happy.
Living Dead In Dallas continues the story of Sookie and Bill and their mishaps and downfalls of Sookie being in love with a vampire. It is going along, somewhat, with the second season and the current season. As for the crazy queen lady, she is not in the book, thus far. Which makes that one HUGE reason as to why I’m liking the books more than the show.
As far fetched as this is going to sound, having the crazy queen lady not in the book makes the book more “believeable”.
Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse series? Do you want to start? Have you read the books, but not seen the show?

A couple of weeks ago I started following the Weight Watchers points system, thanks to my friend Ashley. I was super excited to start!
Since then I have lost 6.5 pounds! And that’s mainly JUST keeping track of points, via apps on my phone. Even after splurging on pizza a couple of nights ago, I still lost, due to knowing how “much” I should eat. I’m proud of myself. And I hope to continue losing. I’m hoping to be down to the 100’s again (yikes I know!) by the time Izeafest comes around. That’s a little over 30 days, so I’m pretty sure I can do it, if I stick to it!! *fingers crossed*
Cure For The Run
SomaCow Media and Rock For Hunger teamed up to put on an amazing event. A 0.05k. 164 feet. No, I am not making this up. I honestly had to walk further to get to my car. Seriously!
Over $3,000 dollars was raised to help the homeless in Orlando, FL. Next year, let’s double it!
Here are some pictures from the glorious day. These are other pictures can be found on my flickr page.
SweetUp ‘09
Let’s start from the beginning.. there is twitter. On twitter, you make friends (sometimes), and you meet them at tweetups (twitter meetups). Tweetups are normally held at a restaurant or bar where you can mingle and talk with friends and meet new twitter people. To put a spin on things, this will be a SWEETup. A tweetup, but with LOTS of candy and sweets! Get it? Now, read on.
Next tweetup, SWEETup is on Thursday, September 10th. Winter Park Wedding Chapel is kind enough to host this event at their place!
Thanks to Shaan bringing up candy corn, Justin and Daphne continued talking about candy last week, I have decided since so many people on twitter have to like candy, cake, cupcakes, why not get together and look at it and then eat it!
SUGAR DADDIES: @JeremiahsIce, @SweetByHolly, @KernelEncore
We’d love for EVERYONE to come and bring their favorite treat with them. Since we are not holding this event in a bar or restaurant, sure we’ll get some beverages to have, but not a ton. Think of it as a potluck of sorts. Don’t need to bring anything crazy or $$, just something small for everyone to share.
I’m looking for chocolate, cake, cupcake, lollipop, candy, SWEET places to help out with this event. If you are a company or you know of a company that would be willing to help out please let me know! You can e-mail me at kelly@peglegpug.com or find me on twitter @peglegpug.

Izeafest Winner To Be Announced!
Today MarketLeverageTV becomes the MarketLeverage TV Network with multiple shows. And during the debut episode of WrapUp the winners of BenSpark’s Ultimate IZEAFest Prize Pack Contest will be chosen.
This contest sprang forth from the mind of Drew Bennett – AKA BenSpark (@BenSpark) after writing his list of 10 Essential items to bring with you to IZEAFest. While writing that post Drew was thinking about all the conferences that he’s attended over the years and the things that were essential to a blogger at each event. His dream was to be able to provide those items as prizes to a lucky blogger who will be attending IZEAFest 2009. That along with his 10 Reasons to Attend IZEAFest 2009 gave him inspiration to ask for help in making his dream of giving a great prize pack to some lucky bloggers a reality.
So Drew went out and asked multiple sponsors for help. He is an IZEA Insider for the “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” Crew and as such was provided with tickets to IZEAFest. So prize number one was taken care of. You can’t have an Ultimate IZEAFest Prize Pack without a ticket to IZEAFest. From there Drew recruited the generous help of Dina Riccobono (@MLDina) and MarketLeverage (@MarketLeverage) who provided Drew with an Asus Eee PC 1000HA and a Flip Mino HD that is Co-Branded BenSpark.com and MarketLeverage!
Early on when Drew started his search for prizes he made a request from ZINK Imaging who gave him two Polaroid Pogos and 200 sheets of ZINK Paper. He uses one of them to create unique Business cards. When Drew meets you he asks you to take a photo with him using his Xshot. He then prints out an instant photo with his Pogo on ZINK paper and sticks it to the back of his business card. Drew is donating one of his Polaroid PoGos to the winner. He also secured An Xshot for each winner because there are two runner up winners who not only get IZEAFest Tickets (A fantastic and valuable prize in its own right) but they will each get a smaller prize pack.
Drew’s friend Michael at Xshot hooked him up with a business contact in the Flipbac Innovations Company and they kicked in some Flipbac (@flipbac) angled viewfinder and LCD screen protectors for digital cameras as prizes. Each Runner up gets one of those and Drew has a few extra to give away at IZEAFest. To keep people going all weekend long Drew was able to get a case of BluFrog Wildly Healthy Energy Drink donated by Martha Decker (@MarDeck). He is also including energy drink packets from EBOOST (@EBOOST). Drew will have close to 100 packets to give away at IZEAFest 2009, come find him for one. Runner up
winners also get an EBOOST prize pack. Continuing to fill out his Ultimate IZEAFest Prize Pack Drew sought out help from one of his “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” crew members, Jennifer Leet (@jentifa. Jennifer is the queen of contests and she connected with one of her sponsors BriteView (@BriteView to get a Cinema Cube to add to the Ultimate IZEAFest Prize Pack. Still not quite sure that he had the Ultimate Prize Pack for an IZEAFest attendee Drew sought out something innovative and cool that would reflect the fun open spirit of learning and networking of IZEAFest. He found the perfect prize in the Poken. Drew asked a question on Twitter about whether the Poken was worth the money and the call was answered by @PokenGirl. PokenGirl explained that the Poken is a device that one can use to connect with other people physically by slapping a “High 4″ with that other person’s Poken. What that does is exchange a digital business card that contains your online social media profiles. Since IZEAFest is all about learning, having fun and making connections with other people a Poken is a great prize that will be going to each of the winners. They even get to choose which of the cute little Pokens they want.
With the Prize Pack Assembled Drew only needed to find some willing judges and he did at Affiliate Summit East. First he recruited Famous Blogger Murray Newlands (@MurrayNewlands), then “I’m Not A Famous Blogger” crew member Tim Jones (@Timothy_Jones) or rather The Real Tim Jones. He also recruited Eric Schechter @ericschechter of ClickBooth and last but not least he recruited Kim Ann Curtin (@KimAnnCurtin, Life Coach to the Affiliates. The Judges had a difficult task ahead of them. There were four bloggers who went that extra mile to try for the Ultimate IZEAFest Prize Pack. Those folks along with the many others who entered the random drawing are waiting on the edge of their seats until WrapUp airs on the MarketLeverage TV Network Monday Morning 12:30 pm EST.

This next week is going to be a bit on the crazy side. Along with working all week, I get to see my friend tomorrow after WEEKS of not seeing her.
Jeff and I did some double coupon shopping today at Kmart and he bought me a food processor!! Which I am super excited to use this week. I also wrote out what we will be having for dinner this week (thanks to always going to our friend’s house and seeing it on their fridge).
Yesterday I started doing Weight Watchers points again. I will be writing everything down and taking control of food intake. Today I kept within my points and ended the evening with my single serving snack baggies of candy corn (3 points!) that I made up this afternoon.
I will be trying to make up my own snack bags so I can just grab them on the way to work and not have to put much thought into it in the morning.
